So What is Kid Fitness about? Staying active and giving the body the nutrition it needs. Cardio exercise is any type of physical exercise that gets the blood pumping. As kids we can get this type of exercise by swimming, playing tag, going on the trampoline, riding a bike, even taking brisk walks.
So you don't need a fancy home gym to get a good cardio workout, all you have to do is take the time. Team sports are another great way to get cardio exercise whether soccer, hockey, basketball, softball or any other team sport, you will get the exercise you need and have fun too. Even jumprope and hula hoop, anything that gets you moving. Kids dance and dance lessons are yet another great way to get a cardio workout.
Whenever doing any gymnastics or physical activity, it's important to warm up your muscles first to avoid injury. Have fun with your activity!
